The Reaf Debrief

I'm Reaf, I'm a writer. I post about comics, cartoons, and other nerdy stuff. he/him Ace ♠

Marvel's whole policy of creating comics to make fans angry and create controversy is really backfiring when forums are locking threads about the comics. CBR mods aren't even allowing any discussion of IvX #3 preview.

Sigh.

We don’t make comics to make fans angry. We make comics with stories we believe in. What we’ve said is that making fans angry doesn’t usually mean lower sales–it usually means higher sales on the project. But we don’t go “What would really piss people off? Let’s do that!”

We make the best story we can, all the time, every time. Period.

We don’t always succeed, but that is always the goal.
